Nissan Leaf Nismo RC Luxury

Nissan has just announced that the Leaf Nismo RC will hit the tarmac during the “Le Mans vers le futur,” a demonstration event that will take place prior to the 79th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Nissan Leaf Nismo RC will hit the track for two demonstration runs; the first on Thursday, June 9 and the second on Saturday, June 11

McLaren MP4-25 Formula One

McLaren Formula One team has unveiled its latest car for the 2010 season, the McLaren MP4-25. The MP4-25 is as different from last year’s MP4-24 as that car was from its MP4-23 predecessor. The MP4-25 Formula 1 uses a 2.4-liter V-8, which revs to (restricted) 18,000 rpm and puts its astonishing (and unlisted) power down through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Apart from the stretched wheelbase, McLaren says the MP4-25 is an aerodynamic evolution over last year’s car. One of the primary changes to the MP4-25 for the start of this season is the double diffuser at the rear of the car. Other aerodynamic evolutions from last year include the rear wing, which sports a dorsal fin in its center.
